The animal feed is a complex mixture of cellulose, plant fibre, grains, fatty matter, oil seeds and oilcakes. animals do not produce suitable enzymes required for the digestion of these macromolecules:
1-Cellulase is required for the digestion of cellulosic plant material.
2-Xylanase helps in digestion of plant fibres.
3-Lipase is needed for efficient metabolism of oils and fats, which is a current trend in the feeds.
4-Protease helps in getting optimum amino acids from feed.
5-Amylase is required to hydrolyse starchy material in the feed.
AMYLASE - PROTEASE - LIPASE - XYLANASE - PECTINASE- CELLULASE
150 - 250 gram of metric ton of feed.
Each 150 gm of Tacozyme equal to 150 000 kcal / ton feed
